Ability Cricket Update

VI Cricket

Staffordshire Wolves Visual Impaired team have 3 fixtures in July in the Blind Cricket England & Wales (BCEW) Regional League, home to Wavertree, Merseyside on Sunday 1st, home to Worcestershire on Sunday 22nd and the return fixture v Worcestershire, the following Sunday.

 

 

Outdoor training sessions are taking place at Wolverhampton CC in preparation for the League fixtures – new players are always very welcome.

ECB Super9s

Staffordshire Ability Team have a busy month of fixtures in July, Yorkshire away at Thongsbridge CC on Sunday 8th followed by Lancashire at Silverdale CC on Sunday 22nd plus a festival at Kings Heath CC on the 15th and T10 competition at Darley Abbey CC, Derbyshire on the 29th!

Outdoor  training takes place at Newcastle & Hartshill CC on Saturday mornings, 9.30-11.00am on a fortnightly basis, the next session will be Saturday 7th July.

Ability Cricket Groups

Sessions are taking place at Moddershall CC with the guys from Club 101 and Staffordshire Ventures on Thursday afternoons, 1.00-2.30pm every week, we look forward to a Sports Day on Thursday 16th August to round off a great Summer.

 

 

Lichfield CC is the venue every other Thursday evening, 5th and 19th July, and The Way, Wolverhampton alternate Sundays, 12-1pm, 1st, 15th and 29th both groups run through the Summer.

You would be very welcome to come along and have a go, meet new people and make friends in a safe, fun environment.

Walking Cricket

Going from strength to strength at both Clayton Sports Centre on Mondays 6-7.30pm and Alleynes Leisure Centre, Stone on Wednesdays 5.30-7pm.   Walking Cricket Festival in Nottingham on Thursday 2nd August.

Coaching in Schools

June has seen children at Marshlands, Watermill, Blackfriars, Abbey Hill, Meadows, Cedars, Coppice, Two Rivers, Penn Fields, Green Park, Rugeley and Westcroft Special Schools benefitting from coaching in curriculum time, building up to schools competitions later in the Summer.
