Able Too Fun Games Poster 2017Able Too Games return to Meadowside Leisure Centre

The Able Too Fun Games are back for 2017! This great family day is a chance for people with a disability to come and try a range of activities at Meadowside Leisure Centre, meet new people and have fun!

This yearly event will take place on Saturday 17th September from 9:30am-4pm.

Activities include football, trampolining, bowls, swimming, circus skills and cricket. The Coral Reef play den will also be available for younger children.

Shobnall Leisure Complex Mini Clubs back for the new term

Children’s sports clubs are once again taking place at Shobnall Leisure Complex on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings. Mini Clubs restarted for the Autumn term on Monday 4th September, but children aged 6-15 can join at any time.

Sessions on Mondays will run from 5pm-6pm and children will be able to take part in Badminton, Tennis or Short Tennis.

Tuesdays’ sessions will also run from 5pm-6pm and will include Dodgeball and Handball.

Finally, on Fridays, Sporthall Athletics will take place from 4:30pm-6pm.

Sessions will not take place during October Half Term (week commencing 23rd October) and will end week commencing 11th December. The clubs will then restart following the Christmas holidays, running from week commencing 8th January-week commencing 19th March.

There’s no need to book, so children can just turn up on the day and take part.
