Meet Sharon
Sharon Heath is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in health, leisure, and community-based service delivery. She brings extensive financial management expertise, alongside a detailed understanding of publicly funded programmes and partnership working across local government and charitable sectors.
Sharon provides strategic financial oversight, assurance, and scrutiny, supporting the organisation’s financial sustainability, risk management, and compliance with governance standards. She is currently Finance Manager at Everybody Health & Leisure, a health and wellbeing charity based in Cheshire East, dedicated to improving people’s lives through physical activity and healthy recreation.
Over the course of her career, Sharon has contributed to a number of government-supported initiatives and community programmes, including Sure Start Children’s Centres and Community Learning Partnerships. These programmes have encompassed employment and life skills provision, as well as a range of health and active lives initiatives, including child obesity programmes and the administration of PE and physical activity funding.
Her experience spans both financial leadership and operational delivery environments, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of how funding frameworks translate into community impact.
Sharon is committed to ensuring that financial stewardship and community benefit remain closely aligned. She is particularly motivated by the role that health and leisure services can play as a lifeline within communities and has witnessed first-hand the positive outcomes these initiatives deliver for individuals and families.
