Governance & The Board

Together Active is led by its Board of Trustees. The Board sets Together Active’s strategic direction, and is the organisation’s ultimate decision-making body.

The Board is made up of between seven and twelve members, who serve on a voluntary basis, receiving no remuneration (other than reasonable expenses). These Board members bring a wide-ranging set of skills, experience and knowledge, ensuring that the organisation is governed effectively.  All Board members complete a Declaration of Good Character and sign up to a Code of Conduct and adhere to the Charity Commissions’ Essential Trustee Guide.
