Sports Awards 2015
SASSOT Community Sport Awards 2015 saw some of the county’s finest sporting clubs and volunteers coming together to be honored. Held at Staffordshire County Council the event recognised the achievements and commitment of local people in developing local community sport. Awards were up for grabs in five categories and proved a challenging task for the judging panel in selecting county winners.

Chris Bowers (16), British Canoeing England National Talent programme member for Canoe Slalom also attended the evening celebrations. Chris inspired the audience with his sporting achievements and aspirations for Tokyo 2020. After a tense lead up to the awards, the following 5 award winners were announced.

Community Sports Project of the Year 2015 -Quantico Court Activity Sessions (Stafford)

Community Sports Volunteer of the Year 2015 – John Finney & Jonathan Seal
