New Netball opportunities coming to Lichfield
Netball in Staffordshire is ever-growing and this March we have new exciting netball opportunities coming to Lichfield!
Walking Netball has evolved from a growing demand for walking sports. Often, one of netball’s strengths is that people never forget playing the sport, and the memories as well as the love for the game never leave. Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. The game has been designed so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level.
Sessions are commitment free, so there’s no need to book in advance. You don’t need any special kit, just clothes that you feel comfortable exercising in and trainers ideally that lace up. Make sure you bring some water and that you’ve had a snack a couple of hours before hand.
Walking Netball session
- Starts Thursday 1st March
- 10:30am-11.30am
- Beacon Park (Netball/Tennis Courts), Lichfield
- £2.50 per session
- Includes tea/coffee afterwards
Junior Netball sessions are also being introduced to Beacon Park, catering for both under 11s (ages 9,10 & 11) and for over 11s (12-15 years old). Both sessions are linked to Lichfield Spires adult netball club and will cover the basics of the game and is a get way for children to get active, enjoy themselves and make new friends.

- 10am-11am (U11s) and 11am-12pm (O11s)
- Beacon Park (Netball/Tennis Courts), Lichfield
- £3.50 per session
