Tip of the month!

Don’t be afraid to explore different methods of evaluating and presenting data and information!

Having a raft of research and data collected from various sources is great. However, this can mean that lots of useful information can become easily missed or lost when presenting findings.

To overcome this issue, have a look at various methods that can be used to easily capture the relevant and necessary information for you to build your perfect strategy, write that tricky funding bid or evaluate your impact in the most effective and efficient way.

Below are examples of both analysis and presentation methods that can be easily adapted:

Comprising and Analysing

  • Mind Maps: A creative and adaptable method to get thoughts and findings written down
  • Theme categorising: Helps to find connections between information and simplify the various information collected
  • Frameworks: A great way of linking data collected with outcomes and objectives
  • Pre-defined questions: Can help to understand whether the data and information found is relevant to set outcomes and objects by asking self-verifying questions

Presenting

  • Graphs: Simple and effective
  • Infographics: Creative and appealing
  • Word Blasts: Bespoke and accurate
  • Slideshows: Comprehensive and adaptable

Finding the right methods that works for you is really important and will help you to both understand all the information and present your findings in the most efficient and appropriate ways possible.
