Ability Cricket Update

Monday 9th May 2016

Visual Impairment Cricket

Staffordshire Wolves played their first fixture in the ECB Visual Impairment Regional League on Sunday 24th April at Alexandra Park, Manchester against Lancashire Lions, Zeb Khan retired on 51 NO, and Mazen Malik compiled a creditable 34 NO to help the team score 155 for 3 wickets from 17 overs.  After enjoying tea in glorious sunshine, the Manchester drizzle returned as Lancashire began their innings and unfortunately the game was abandoned as a draw with Lancashire Ions on 34 without loss.  A very promising start for the guys who now look forward to their next fixture away to Herefordshire on Sunday 15th May followed by the return fixture v Lancashire Lions at Wolverhampton CC, the following Sunday.

Outdoor training sessions are taking place at Wolverhampton CC in preparation for the League fixtures – new players are always very welcome.
