Kimiyo spent over 30 years working in Culture and Leisure in local government and in that time was involved in promoting equality and diversity in Sport, sitting on a number of Panels for Sport England. She was also a volunteer in disability sport for over 20 years. As a parent of a young person involved in club and county sport she became a local volunteer. Â Kimiyo was excited to join Together Active in order to contribute to the well-being communities through her passion for inclusion in sport, her knowledge of financial management and her experience of close working with Public Health colleagues to increase physical activity.

exercise bike for my cardiovascular health and do pilates for my musculoskeletal health!”
