The city of adventures programme gives people the opportunity to travel in a variety of paddle crafts which include Kayaks and Canoes on the lakes and canals of Stoke-On-Trent.

Stoke on Trent City of Sport Triathlon

Stoke on Trent City Council in partnership with UK Triathlon are proud to be hosting the second triathlon weekend set in the stunning Trentham Gardens Estate.

The Triathlon will take place at the Trentham Estate and surrounding area over the weekend of 9th and 10th September 2017. Saturday 9th sees the children taking part in age brackets 7 – 8yrs, 9 – 12yrs, 13 – 16yrs. Sunday 10th is open age and competition have 3 distances to take part in comprising of 6 different formats. Olympic & Relay (1500m swim – 40k cycle – 10k run) Sprint & Relay (750m swim – 20k cycle 5k run) and Super Sprint & Fun  (200m swim – 10k cycle-2.5k run).This format offers an opportunity for competitors of all abilities to take part.

Stoke City council and UKTriathlon have also teamed up with UK Corporate Games offering local Businesses the chance to get involved by entering the UK Corporate Cup of Triathlon 10th September.
