CClub Experience Workshoplub Matters Workshop

Free – How to create an extraordinary experience Club Experience for young people at your club

The world is changing, how do you ensure your club is chosen over all the other opportunities that are competing for young people’s time? By making it a place they want to keep on coming back to. This workshop provides support and information to help you make this happen.

This workshop will have a specific focus on young people aged 11-25 and be relevant to any sport. We recommend that two people from each club attend to share the learning.

Multi Sport Club Welfare Officer Time to Listen Workshop

Please note you must have attended a Safeguarding and Protecting Children previously and you will need to bring your own reporting procedures and child protection policy to the workshop. Please also check that the NGB for your sport accepts this multi sport version of the training.

Blood, Sweat and Fears – Women in Sport and Exercise Conference 2018

This women in sport and exercise conference ‘Blood, Sweat and Fears’ will be held on 13 and 14 June 2018 at Staffordshire University, Leek Road, Stoke on Trent. The Conference will discuss the issues around women’s participation in sport and exercise.

The themes of the conference will include:

  • Female-specific health and medical issues arising from participation in sport and exercise
  • Issues and opportunities for women’s participation in sport and exercise
Delegates will be awarded 5 BASES (British Association of Sport and Exercise Science ) credits per day.
