Course title: Power of an Active School

This session would support schools to increase physical activity throughout the day to boost health and academic achievement for young people.

It looks at how your school can:

*Meet the requirements of the governments childhood obesity plan

*develop an understanding of the evidence and research underpinning active approaches in schools

*boost well being, behaviour and attendance by building physical activity into the whole school day

*introduce physical activity into the classroom to raise confidence and aspiration levels

Target audience: Teachers of KS1 and 2 PE, HT, Senior Leaders
