FREE (T’s & C’s apply) Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership

The Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership is a nationally recognised qualification that enables successful learners to lead groups of people in sport/activity, under indirect supervision.

The qualification teaches generic leadership skills such as organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through the medium of sport within the community. It is a fun and practical qualification with no entrance requirements or final examinations to sit.

Date: Monday 19th February to Friday 23rd February 2018

Time: 9.30-4pm each day

Location: Fenton Manor Sports Complex, Stoke-on-Trent

Cost: Free (a deposit of £31 plus booking fee is required. However, the course cost (£31) will be reimbursed upon completion of the course and volunteering hours).

Age: 16+

Volunteering Hours

You will be required to complete 12 hours volunteering for School Games Events and Competitions.

You will also be required to complete 10 hours volunteering for the qualification (where these hours are completed will determine which qualification you receive). There is the possibility of combining the above and you will be supported to do this.

Please note: your place will be confirmed upon completion of registration documents and course information which will be sent to you once you have booked your place.

In order to receive a full refund, you must give 7 working days’ notice prior to the start of the course. If less notice is given, the refund is not granted.
