Win Up to £1,000 for your good cause or charity Persimmon Community Champions is here to help local community groups, good causes and charities.

All Persimmon’s businesses have £2,000 to give away every month – 28 regional businesses, plus Persimmon’s Space4 and PLC head office. That’s a whopping £60,000 being donated every month.

Our charity match programme gives donations of up to £1000 to local UK groups and charities, which have already raised vital funds themselves.

OneFamily Foundation Community Awards 2016 – Round 1

Fund title: OneFamily Foundation Community Awards
Scope: National
Fund value: £5,000 – £25,000

Short description: In 2016 the OneFamily Foundation will make £560,000 available for community groups and causes, through Community Awards.

Description: OneFamily customers can nominate community projects close to their hearts for funding of £5,000 or £25,000, across four different categories:

  • Health, Disability and Social Care
  • Schools and Centres of Education
  • Sports and Social Groups
  • Youth and Affiliated Organisations

Approved projects will be entered into a public vote, which will determine the winners in each category – projects will need to campaign & raise awareness of their nomination in the Community Awards to gain the most votes!

Awards for All, The Big Lottery

Any community group, not for profit group, parish or town council, health body, or school can apply for £300 – £10000; NB: Awards for All are encouraging groups to apply in order to increase the amount of projects supported. Website


Comic Relief Launches Refreshed Grants Strategy

Comic Relief have released details of their refreshed grant strategy, grant making will be focussed on four key programme areas. These are; Investing in children and young people to be ready for the future, Empowering women and girls to be free to lead the lives they choose, Improving the health and wellbeing of vulnerable and disadvantaged people, Building stronger communities in areas of disadvantage, deprivation and poverty.

Groundwork One Stop Carriers for Causes – new grants programme

“Carriers for Causes” is a new funding source from Groundwork and grants are available for good causes within two miles of a One Stop shop. Grants, of up to £1000 will be available to support projects that ‘benefit local communities – helping to improve lives and local places’.
