Get Xploring during the Summer Holidays

Are you looking for something to do with the kids during the Summer Holidays?  Why not give Xplorer Orienteering a try? 

Imagine an activity you can do with all the family (not just drop off the kids and go shopping or read a book)! Imagine an activity where it doesn’t matter how young, old or fit you are (you can go at your own pace)! Finally imagine the excitement of a scavenger hunt in the woods, or a treasure hunt in your local park. That’s Xplorer!

Children will enjoy using a simple map to try and find markers hidden around the park. Events are taking place around the county – there’s no need to book, just turn up…

• Chasewater Innovation Centre (11am – 1pm, £2) – 26^th July, 3^rd, 12^th and 31^st August
• Kidsgrove – Bathpool Park (1pm – 3pm, free, register at the Play Area) – 25^th July, 1^st, 8^th, 15^th and 22^nd August
• Kidsgrove – Clough Hall Park (1pm – 3pm, free, register near the Pavillion) – 27^th July, 3^rd, 10^th, 17^th and 24^th August
• Lichfield – Beacon Park (11am – 2pm, 50p per child, register at the Play Area) – 29^th July and 29^th August
• Newcastle-under-Lyme – Lyme Valley Park (1pm – 3pm, free, register at the Play Area) – 28^th July, 4^th, 11^th, 18^th and 25^th August
• Stafford – Rowley Park (free, register at the Athletics Track refreshment area) – 1^st August (10.30am – 12.30pm), 10^th August (1.30pm – 3.30pm) and 2^nd September (10am – 12pm)
• Stoke-on-Trent – Burslem Park (1.30 to 3.30, free, register at the Multi Use Games Area) – 28^th July, 4^th, 11^th, 25^th August and 1^st September
• Stoke-on-Trent – Fenton Park (10am to 12pm, free, register at the Victoria Road Entrance) – 29^th July, 5^th, 12^th, 19^th and 26^th August
• Stoke-on-Trent – Hanley Park (10am – 12pm, free, register at the Bandstand / Pavillion) – 18^th and 25^th July, 1^st, 8^th, 15^th and 24^th August
• Stoke-on-Trent – Northwood Stadium (free, register at the Site Gate in main Car Park) – 22^nd July (11am – 1pm), 22^nd August (10am – 12pm), 28^th August (11am to 3pm) and 31^st August (10am – 12pm)
• Stoke-on-Trent – Queens Park, Longton (10am to 12pm, free, register at the Cocknage Road Entrance) – 3^rd, 14^th, 23^rd and 30^th August
