Great British tennis weekend returns in July

Tuesday 28th June 2016

The final instalment of the fun-filled Great British Tennis Weekend returns in July as thousands of families and friends hit the tennis courts in their local area for free.

On the 16th and 17th of July, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent parks and clubs will open their doors as the nation goes tennis crazy in the lead up to a fantastic summer of the sport.

Great British Tennis Weekend is the UK’s biggest ever public tennis event and offers free tennis for anyone, whether you’ve never picked up a racket or haven’t played for a while and want to get involved.

Players will be able to experience Cardio Tennis, Highland Spring Mini Tennis, coaching and much more – all for free.

Last year, more than 1,000 venues across the country hosted an event with over 50,000 people playing tennis for free in all corners of Great Britain.

Try tennis over the weekend of 16th and 17th July at a venue near you. Reserve your free place at www.lta.org.uk/gbtw
