South West Peak Community Grants Programme

Monday 13th August 2018

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to community groups who want to share or enhance what they love best in the south west of the Peak District.

The fund is open to groups in and outside the Peak District who are passionate to enhance, protect, share or celebrate the heritage and countryside of the south west corner of the Peak District.

The grants programme is administered by Support Staffordshire and forms part of the £2.4M Heritage Lottery funded South West Peak Landscape Partnership Scheme. Projects funded should broadly be about the built, cultural and environmental heritage of the area, but this includes a wide range of activities – for example a series of visits for a walks for health group who would not normally venture to this remote upland area to enable them to experience its vast open spaces, small villages and intriguing landmarks.

Closing dates for the next two grants rounds are 8th October 2018 and 21st January 2019.
