Together Active Seeks Local Coaching and Mentoring Provider to Invest in Team

Friday 14th June 2024

Together Active, independent charity and the Active Partnership for Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, is excited to announce a new opportunity for local businesses. They are seeking an experienced coaching and mentoring provider to help invest in their team’s development, become more agile in responding to community need, and future-proof the organisation.

A Commitment to Our Community

As a growing charity, Together Active is dedicated to designing out inactivity across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. By promoting physical activity, they aim to improve the lives of some of the most overlooked and unheard populations. Their focus areas include health and wellbeing, social inclusion, and building powerful communities across the area. “Investing in our staff through this coaching and mentoring initiative is crucial to achieving these goals,” commented Carly Jones, Together Active CEO.

Empowering The Team with Radical Candor

Central to this initiative is the implementation of Radical Candor, a methodology that encourages open, honest, and constructive feedback. This approach will help Together Active foster a culture of professional curiosity, enhance team dynamics, and support employee growth. By integrating Radical Candor, they aim to create a resilient and adaptable team ready to meet future challenges.

Future-Proofing Together Active

“This coaching and mentoring programme will be a fantastic addition to our current training offer, which is designed to enhance professional development, strengthen leadership skills, and improve team collaboration and communication. This investment in our team is not only about immediate benefits but also about ensuring the long-term sustainability and impact of our work for the communities we serve,” Hazell Thorogood, Head of Operations, told us.

Invitation to Local Providers

Local coaching and mentoring providers are invited to be part of this exciting opportunity. By partnering with Together Active, providers will play a key role in shaping a progressive and supportive workplace culture, contributing to the broader mission of improving lives through physical activity.
