The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) is holding a number of courses and CPD across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
ASA Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) *Blended Learning
Dates: 17th/18th/19th March 2017

The ASA Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) qualification is a practical qualification, which develops the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be a Swimming Assistant (Teaching).
This is a Blended Learning programme which means that learners complete part of the theory units online, this work is assessed and then learners complete all e-learning elements prior to attending the face-to-face practical units at Jubilee.
Minimum age to attend is 16 years old.
Safeguarding & Protecting Children Course

Team Manager Module 1 Course (Local Competitions)

Team Manager training is designed to ensure any volunteers who are taking groups of athletes to competitions or camps, locally or abroad, are fully equipped to do their role. Ensuring athletes arrive and return from sporting activities unharmed is a big responsibility and this training will ensure volunteers have all the necessary skills and knowledge to do this with confidence.
Minimum age to attend workshop is 16 years old, although it should be noted that an individual cannot take the role of a Team Manager fully until they turn 18. You have to have completed the Module 1 course before attending a Module 2 Course.
