VI Cricket

Since last month’s report the guys had a frustrating match v Herefordshire on Sunday 26th June at Wolverhampton CC,  severely affected by the weather and then recorded their first victory in Blind Cricket England & Wales Regional League against Gloucestershire Growlers on Sunday 24th July.  The Wolves declared their innings on 195 for 8 wickets with Shezad Chohan 55 NO and Mazen Malik 27 being the main contributors, a valuable 8th wicket stand of 20 between Aidan Flynn and Tom Buckley.  An exciting run chase took place with all results still possible at the start of the final over, the Growlers were bowled out for 189 on the last ball of the match giving the Wolves their first win the League, Janaid taking 2 wickets for 9 runs and completing 4 run outs!.

The return fixture is on Sunday 7th August, why not come down and support the guys and marvel at how the game is played?
