Castle Sport Grant Funding Scheme

Castle Sport has recently opened its grant scheme and would like to receive more grant applications from sportsmen and women who reside within the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme, to apply for financial support to help them with the associated costs of undertaking their chosen sport.

Applicants can apply once within a 24 month period for their application to be considered to receive a grant that can help towards the costs of specialist sports equipment, club fees, transport, coaching fees, coaching qualifications or competition charges.

Applicants can apply for funding selecting one of three different categories – County or Regional or National – with grants ranging up to £500 that can be awarded after meeting the selection criteria.

All application forms are assessed by Castle Sport before any decision being verified by Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council.

The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday 1 June 2018.
