Adam Binns – Christmas Ability Fun Day Winner

Our Christmas Ability Fun Day that took place at Penkridge Leisure Centre made a great success over the weekend, inviting young disabled children and their family and friends to take part in fun activities. It was a fun filled day with lots to do, Lisa Tiso our regular face painter who kindly came along and painted the team and children’s faces building on the Christmas spirt. Clive Gibson who was our Athletics coach brought enthusiasm and passion, bringing the children together to play team games encouraging them to go ahead and shoot some arrows in soft archery. The day did not stop here because the second hour the children took part in fun swimming where they could enjoy and relax themselves.

The Christmas Spirit continued where one lucky winner had the opportunity to win a £20.00 gift voucher, Adam Binns was our winner for Sunday 6th December. After an hour swim, Adam was announced the winner briefly speaking to him he thoroughly enjoyed swimming and taking part in the activities in the sports hall. It was his first time attending the session and it was great to hear that he had an enjoyable time.
