FA England Talent Day

Could you be eligible to play for England?

The FA England Talent Day in Staffordshire aims to identify and signpost players with a disability into the right environment to enhance & develop their football experience.

The England Talent Day in Staffordshire will take place as stated below:

 

Date Tuesday 14th March 2017

Time 7pm till 9pm

Venue Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews, Stoke

Register Players must be registered prior to the day to attend

Player Requirements

Players must be 12 to 16 years old

Cerebral Palsy | Partially Sighted | Deaf Female & Male | Learning Disability | Amputee | Blind |

Following the FA England Talent Day, players will be signposted to local suitable clubs within the area or may be invited back for a week player assessment programme.

New FA Sessions – January 2017

New football sessions for the New Year. The FA are hosting weekly sessions at Codsall Leisure Centre and Michelin Sport Centre for 8 – 16 year old with PAN disabilities. The sessions will be an hour long taking place at 5:30pm-6:30pm in a fun and inclusive environment.

The aim will be to provide players with the opportunity to take part in fun sessions and learn new skills delivered by a qualified FA coaches, the sessions will be available for both male and females with a small charge of just £2.00.

FA Coaching Disabled Footballers Course

Staffordshire FA will be delivering an FA Coaching Disabled Footballers Course in January 2017 at Burton Albion FC. The course is open to coaches in Staffordshire to provide football coaches with ideas and practices for the inclusion of disabled players in football sessions whether in mainstream or impairment specific sessions. Pre Requisite Coaches must be 16+ and hold a minimum of the FA Level 1

Turn up and Play Disability Football Sessions

All sessions will be open to both boys and girls aged 8 to 16 years old, of all abilities and will provide the opportunity to take part in fun and inclusive football sessions delivered by FA qualified football coaches.
