Have You Heard?
FA Disability Talent Hub Talent ID Day – 26th October 2019
Do you know a player aged 7 to 16 with cerebral palsy, a hearing impairment or visual impairment?
Stoke City have been successful for a 3rd season to host an FA Disability Talent Hub across the country which forms part of the FA Disability Talent Pathway for Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impaired & Visually Impaired Football/ Futsal.
But we need your help with identifying players within your league, clubs, school or groups who could be eligible for this additional opportunity for players to get onto the England Talent Pathway.
The Talent Hubs will deliver engagement sessions for players with cerebral palsy, deaf players and partially sighted players aged 7-11 and 12-16.
Sessions will enable continued talent identification/confirmation opportunities.
Hubs will be used as a ‘check point’ for these players and will have robust processes to link players to appropriate mainstream clubs or impairment specific clubs.
In the last 2 seasons, 2x players were identified from the talent hub to the next step on the FA Disability Talent Pathway to attend Regional Talent Programme.
The hub will be hosting their first ID day of the season in Staffordshire later this month please see details below:
