Three New Exciting Vacancies For Together Active

Together Active is a newly-formed charitable organisation (formerly Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent) working across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. We exist to create active places and healthy lives through physical activity and sport. We are part of a national network of Active Partnerships, funded by Sport England and our local partners. Together Active is the evolution of an unincorporated organisation which has been established for nearly 20 years; SASSOT (Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent). Together Active will become operational on 1st April 2020, and after that point business will transfer from SASSOT to the new charity.

 

We are looking appoint three amazing people with values strongly aligned to our own.

 

Active Places Manager

The Active Places Manager will ensure physical activity is embedded into local planning policy. They will influence and facilitate local agencies in their decision-making surrounding design, development and investment in facilities, open spaces and infrastructure.

Digital, Campaigns and Health Manager

The Digital, Campaigns & Health Manager will drive Together Active’s approach to digital innovation, chiefly through the strategic management of our Open Data-driven platform Active My Way. They will be responsible for our Information, Advice and Guidance service with a particular focus on stakeholder communications and campaigns. They will influence and support health partners in ensuring physical activity features strongly in policy and investment.

Young People and Workforce Manager

The Young People and Workforce Manager will influence and support local agencies to ensure physical activity features strongly in their decision-making around children’s health, wellbeing & development. They will also drive quality and capacity within the local physical activity and sport workforce.

All roles are full time and based in Stafford, with a salary of £35,000.
